Last week we had a list for Screenshot Saturday, but that was so last August, so now it’s time for this weeks!
Guinea Pig Parkour
Guinea Pig Parkour is a hand-drawn game inspired by Earthworm Jim. The animation is looking pretty amazing already and that coffee cup might be my new favourite thing ever.
Shady Part of Me
Shady Part of Me is a narrative puzzle game. I get strong Contrast vibes, which is no bad thing. An interesting art style meant I had to include this game.
Rave Horror is a genre mix I’ve never heard of before, but this looks genuinely interesting. When possible I enjoy shouting out new ideas over things that have been done a million times.
TANKNAROK by Polyblock Studio is shaping up to be a cool (but hectic) twin-stick shooter party game. Lots of explosions but hey, it’s a game about Tanks what would you expect?
This game is looking so cool that another studio shouted it out too. An awesome anime art style and what appears to be a grappling hook or chain of some sort. Did I hear Attack on Titan? No…Well this still looks cool even without that IP.
Described by the team as “Cooking Mama meets Monster Farming Sim”, does that mean you raise and hunt your ingredients? This GIF was pretty funny so I included it in the list. Slap that rock, or cover it with paper!
For a one-person studio there is a lot going on here. The music and the animation work really well together, I’m interested to know more. Especially what that music is, is there a soundtrack available?
Alpacapaca Double Dash
Not sure what this game is, other than adorable. But for Screenshot Saturday, the visuals are the most important thing, and this one certainly caught my eye.
Outpost on Syrinx
The caption says it all on this one. An alien. Super basic, super simple…no wait, this is crazy detailed and weird. No idea what this game is going to be but the creative juices are flowing.
Looks like this one is about giant robots, like Gundam or Armored Core. Some pretty kickass music to go with the kickass robots in this trailer.
The Dolls Island
A first person survival horror game, Red Umbrella Games sure seem like upbeat and friendly people with this post. Ironically now I have burnt them.
Box Kid Adventures
A kid in a box navigating dangerous places and solving puzzles. Seems like a lot of fun, the bright colors and detailed pixel art made this one stand out.
Radiant Blade is a crisp looking action RPG, detailed pixel graphics? Check. Fluid animations? Check. Fun art design? Check. All the boxes are checking out, can’t wait to see how the final game turns out.
Light Trail Rush
A fast paced racing game, which is kind of what you want in a racing game. Could you imagine a racing game where you moved incredibly slow? Like maybe you’re on top of a snail and racing a sloth…and now I’m pitching a new idea, but fast racing is fun.
Some more really fantastic pixel art, this one is for the game Dwerve which is a Tower Defence Dungeon Crawler.
I wonder if this developer is aware of the Ninja Gaiden series? Someone better tell them because they even have a ninja as their character.
Trailmakers is marked as a vehicle building sandbox game, I’m not sure if this guy is a vehicle or not, but he sure looks cool.
Not sure if this game is actually Aquanimble or if that’s just another game developed by Drinking Nails LLC. But either way, this looks like a fun game.
Graphically Apple Knight has some real Undertale vibes, the gameplay seems to be its own thing though. Another interesting game that caught my eye, even with such little color.
The Bonfire 2
The Bonfire 2 is a tower defence game, presumably the sequel to The Bonfire.
Cat Quest 2
Forget those AAA games, Cat Quest 2 is the game I’m anticipating the most. The first game was near purrfection, and after finishing the game I wanted more, so I’m glad 2 is on the way.

Ren’s Underworld is an atmospheric first-person RPG, created with Unreal Engine 4. It looks like it will have a decent amount of variety in the levels, everything from mist covered mountains to barren deserts.
Tricky Towers is a fun twist on the Tetris formula, basically Tetris with realistic physics. Plus it has a two-player mode so you can try to stack your towers against a friend. JENGA! No wait….TRICKY TOWERS!
Catch a Duck
Catch a Duck is an animal themed puzzle game, a very cute art style, the sly fox you play as is especially cute. Looks like there will be a lot of game mechanics to learn and a lot of puzzles to solve to catch that duck.

Mighty and Grom: The Stolen Sun
Mighty and Grom: The Stolen Sun there isn’t much information available at the moment, but it looks like a 3D platformer heavily influenced by Ratchet and Clank. Well, if you’re going to make a game from an existing genre, then of course you should take influence from the best.
A metroidvania with incredibly pixel graphics, it’s a story of revenge, the enemy crippled you and stole your daughters mind, now you must overcome them with technology, looks like a cool game.
Primeval Future, play as a robot and hunt monsters, what else could you need? A hub station that is a Western Saloon? Well they have that too.
Red S project
A classic looking 2D platformer, Red S Project really looks like it could have been a late stage SNES or SEGA Genesis game.
Lenin – The Lion
A puzzle RPG about an albino lion, although it is Lenin not a grown up Kimba. This is an interesting looking game and it’s scheduled for release soon.
A 2D bullet hell where you pilot a giant robot and destroy other robots and spaceships. There is a lot going on in this clip, it looks like it’s going to be one hectic ride.
Ten Thousand Coins
A 2D turn-based, trading and strategy game, if only earning money in real life was so easy. I could use ten thousand coins right now.

An interesting puzzle game, that sounds like it is going to be even more interesting when it comes out.
I’m not really sure what this game is, but the character designs and graphics are really fun. From what I could tell, you own a space shop and have to serve a bunch of alien customers? Could be a lot of fun.
A narrative-driven, side-scrolling platformer where players don’t have a jump button. A platformer without a jump button is going to be interesting.
Sophie’s Curse is a mobile game available for android users now. Seems to be a jumpscare horror game, the character models are definitely creepy enough for it.
An in-development top-down beat ’em up game. Scrap Bringer has introduced screen shakes and frame freezes when you take damage, and it looks really effective.
Ravenous Studios are currently working on Deadtime Defenders, that’s about all the information I could find on it. The mockup concept looks really interesting though, fun designs and bright colors.
GTFO is an upcoming 4-player hardcore co-op action/horror FPS by 10 Chambers. In this GIF it looks like there is some strong Alien vibes.

FTW: For the Warp
FTW: For the Warp is a space-based pixel art roguelike game. Man, that space looks really nice.
Typhoon Unit is a horizontal shoot ’em up game, for once it’s not a robot or a spaceship. Character design alone makes this one worthy of the list.
Currently an IOS game but coming to Steam VR soon, Bot-Net certainly looks cool, with giant robots, giant explosions, and slow motion. It’s awesome overload.
Shady Knight is a first person action game with some interesting mechanics already on show. Looks like it should be a lot of fun.
The Serpent Rogue
A sandbox game in the middle ages, or an alternate version of them if the Gorgon’s Lair artwork is to be accounted for. Craft potions, tame beasts, cure settlers; it sounds like a lot of choices will be on offer.
A 2D platformer with puzzle elements, Project Override has an interesting TRON like future to the art style.

Kaylan is looking really nice, built in the Unreal Engine the weather and lighting effects are being used really well. The game is an action RPG in gameplay.
Ninja Chowdown by Dummy Dojo, stands out by the art style, especially color scheme. And by the character design and silly concept, Ninja’s should be lithe and athletic, but no one told this Ninja it seems.
Forecast is a Simultaneous Strategy game being worked on by a two man team using UE4.
Psycho Bob is a platformer shooter game, with ragdoll physics and a warped sense of humour. The art style is very much like an indie comic book which would fit with the humour on offer too.

Divine Commander is an RTS game where gods can come and play, and boy do they change things, just look at how the big the god is compared to the puny human armies.
Circadian is heavily influenced by the classic Mother series from the SNES, it’s looking good enough to be called a spiritual sequel now.
Pyramid Plunge has a lot of Spelunky vibes to it, which is no bad thing as that’s a classic game that was good enough for a remaster.
Aeolis Tournament is a fun looking party game for 8 people, it looks like it has a bunch of modes and cute characters, should be a lot of fun if you can get large enough groups together to play.
Tetraphobia is an island-hopping twin-stick shooter, with bright colors and open skies, it’s a dungeon crawler at heart, but with an open world feel.
Not much information available on this one yet. But the graphics and the new combo system make it seem like it will be a unique and fun game. I’ll keep my eye on this one.
A puzzle platformer inspired by Bubble Bobble, it definitely has that retro feel to it. Looks like it has up to 4 players for more fun.
