The best of #ScreenshotSaturday – August 24, 2019

Last week I wrote a “Best of #ScreenshotSaturday (August 17, 2019)” article for the first time. Just to see if it would be well received. It was and it exceeded the expectations I had. So here is part 2!

I also did similar lists with other hashtags this week:
– “Best of #IndieGame – August 19, 2019
– “Best of #IndieDevHour – August 21, 2019
– “Best of #MadeWithUnity – August 23, 2019

Felix the Reaper

Felix the reaper is a 3D puzzle game about making people die. Moving from the shadows, Felix can manipulate the events in human lives. I had seen Felix the Reaper before, but it had not been tweeted in a hashtag I covered before, so here it is.

Alchemist Mountain

Evil Art Bunny Studios is working on Alchemist’s Mountain. The art is looking pretty clean and I think this can really become something good.

Sea of Solitude

Sea of Solitude, a game built around emotions. This game is published by EA and looks good. I think that this game can hit the peak of quality it looks to be trying to achieve.

Rumblepack made it a bit hard to discover what this game is named. So i’m going to assume that KTV is the name of the game. It’s clearly a mobile game but it still looks fun.

Under the Island

Hit the enemy and poof, it dies. That’s what Slime King Games is showing here. Under the Island will be playable in couch-coop and PvP multiplayer.

Summit of the Wolf

Summit of the Wolf is a fantasty themed point & click game in development with Storycentric Worlds. Summit of the Wolf is scheduled to release spring 2020 on Steam.

Hippoxxus is a metroidvania game that has been in development for eight months. This 2D game is using the Unity engine and is looking fun.

Okay, I have to admit, i nearly got a seizure when I saw HyperCore for the first time. But a rhythm based bullet hell game? That is something i can’t let go!

Chronicles of Galdurvale

Chronicles of Galdurvale is an open world 3D action-adventure game. The fantasy styled game has three different worlds. Solve conflicts and visit islands and ride a dragon.

Feathery Ears

The developer here makes it really hard to figure out what Feathery Ears actually is. The profile only leads to a Patreon Page, which is something you don’t want to visit for information about a game. But the screenshots show a world with combat and enemies. So, let’s kill things?

Story-rich adventure indiegame with cartoony artstyle. Apopia features a girl trying to find her mom, but she ends up meeting a bunch of funny talking animals.

Break n Take

Be an alien leading an alien invasion and destroy all the human cities you can find. Break n Take has this all. Coming to iOS wednesday.

Agents: Biohunters

Agents: Biohunters is a third-person shooter that will soon be released in Early Access on Steam. The cute 3D graphics they added to this game made me excited to see more about it.

Project Safari: Prehistory

Atomik Elk doesn’t post much information about Project Safari: Prehistory. But from what I understand, in this gif we are looking at a museum.

This 3D Pixelart game is Otto. And Otto is a turn-based RPG. Two developers are working on it.

Fury unleashed

Fury Unleashed is a roguelite platformer in development for PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One. The pixelart is looking good and this could become a really good game.

Ultimate Action Hero

In a world full of mediocrity. A hope appears. One man. One purpose. It’s Ultimate Action Hero in development from Mindjar.

Unsung Warriors

Unsung Warriors is a 2D action adventure game set in an Iron Age inspired Europe. Unsung Warriors is being developed by Osarion Games.

Death crown

Death crown released this week and is looking pretty unique. Co5monaut did well on this one and for their unique artstyle i had to include them.

Pumpkin Jack

Pumpkin Jack is on a mission to find and destroy the wizard. The humans lived in peace and didn’t care about the monsters destroying the world around them. And that is why the wizard was summoned in the first place.

The last Faith

The Last Faith is a metroidvania game with pixelart made by Kumisouls Games. Still in development but already looking good.

iZBOT is like the tweet says a New Downwell / Celeste inspired game. The game is a fast platformer but isn’t trying to break grounds with all new mechanics. These developers are aiming to make a good game with things people already love.

Looking for Imago

It’s always nice to see developers improving their games, and that is exactly what happened to Looking for Imago here. It’s a puzzle-platformer in the realm of insects.

Minimal Move

Minimal Move is a cooperative puzzle game in 3D. It’s in development at Tako Studio and scheduled to release spring 2020 on Steam.

Chrono Sword

If you like time traveling and swords, you might like this ‘souls’-like action adventure game from SpaceDuck.

Mostly Intense Monster Defence

Mostly Intense Monster Defense is a lane defence action game in development at Patsui Games. This game will be on Steam in september.

Bravery and Greed

Bravery and Greed is an action-packed brawler and platformer where up to four players can play together in a pixelart world with roguelike elements.

Terror of the Seven Seas

Terror of the Seven Seas is a combat game that plays in the seven seas. This game is being developed by a one man team and for a one-man team this is looking really good.

Lemnis Gate

Lemnis Gate is a first person shooter with a lot of action and unique ways of playing. This game is in development at Ratloop Games Canada and is scheduled to release ‘soon‘.

This was it for this week, hope you enjoyed this list.
